Corporate Volunteering

The SQM Yodo Nutrición Vegetal corporate volunteer program has been in development for 6 years, and its objective is to link workers with the environment of the operations where they live or work, generating ties and commitment. The program encourages social spirit, and generates new dynamics in work teams among participants.
The projects supported by volunteers are of a social or educational nature, with emphasis on supporting professional-technical education in localities neighboring operations and offices. The contribution of each worker is according to their own academic training or life experience, through technical and motivational talks.
The works carried out are diverse according to the characteristics of each territory and its needs. To carry out work through the company, alliances are created with foundations and corporations.
In 2023, corporate volunteering has achieved outstanding results, gathering 156 volunteers and donating 938 hours of work.
